About Lisa Papili - Studio Accompanist

Lisa Papili Carlsen earned a Doctorate in Piano Performance from the Manhattan School of Music where she was awarded the prestigious Harold Bauer Award. A top prize winner of numerous piano competitions, most notably the American National Chopin Competition, Dr. Papili-Carlsen has performed solo recitals throughout the United States and Europe and as guest artist with the symphony orchestras of Dallas, Louisville, Rockford, Manhattan, Hastings, Pueblo, Delaware and Newark. She is Director of Liturgy and Music at St. John the Beloved Church in Wilmington and maintains a private piano studio in Newark where she lives with her husband Allan and three children. Lisa and Marian met while in college at the University of Delaware and have been friends and musical collaborators ever since.
